A Bit of Kinky History

Hi there. Despite the publication date of this post, I’m writing this introduction on September 4^th, 2009. A couple of years ago, I was living in New York City and felt like the incredible conversations I was having with friends of mine needed to be shared. So I shared them in a project I started called Kink On Tap.

This is that project, 2 years later. These first 7 episodes were recorded back in 2007 and a lot has changed between then and now. Nevertheless, for completeness, here is that content from years now past.

Kink On Tap Starts

In this episode, Sara, Emily and I chat over late-night snacks and drinks. There’s a ton of discussion on humiliation fetishes such as cuckolding, and a lot of opinions to go along with it.

So some things I’ve learned from this experience are, among others, that I need to totally slow down my speech and speak up because at some points it is just too dificult to understand what I’m saying. I’ve also learned to try and be as natural as possible in my speech, for the same reasons. (And personally, I feel much more eloquent in writing than I do in speech.)

I think it will also be beneficial to announce the date and the episode number before each recording, or possibly ad those factoids to the beginning of the audio track after the recording so that people have some context if they’re just listening. Of course, as is probably painfully obvious, I am no star member of audio/visual club, so any feedback and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for listening!
